After fighting waves of zombies, mummies and the Grim Reaper, it's time to infiltrate the fortress of the evil King Zarutz. Even stop a fearsome vampire from feeding on the living. Wander through a haunted forest filled with werewolves. Destroy mutants at the hospital only to face the Mad Scientist that created them. Night Slashers features seven stages of endless horror action. Unless, of course, they can turn the humans into terrifying beasts themselves. Monsters intend to take over the world, killing any humans that stand in their way. I'm guessing this Switch version is going to go with the original red option.Stop King Zarutz and his army of evil undead monsters from taking over the world! The world is overrun by werewolves, vampires and the walking dead. I've never heard of Night Slashers, but I'm always down for a beat'em-up! This one actually got censored when it originally came over, giving arcade owners the option to change the blood from red to green. Enemies may move outside the confines of the screen, but players may not. If the players try to simply travel through the levels without fighting, the screen will stop scrolling until all current enemies have been defeated, before allowing the players to continue progress. Enemies appear from both sides of the screen and from out of doorways or entrances set into the background, and the player(s) must defeat all of them to progress. Once that boss is beaten, the players automatically move on to the next stage. In Night Slashers, one, two or three players/characters move from left to right through each level (most of which are split into three or more scenes), fighting with the enemy characters who appear, until they reach a confrontation with a stronger boss character at the end of the level.
